Art Camp for Kids!
Let me just say, this was an amazing group of kids! This week was awesome! Thanks to a few talented artists and the Gallery24 we were able to complete some really cool projects and learn a few things along the way. The Gallery24 artists lead classes on art techniques like sun printing and pour paintings, as well as, collages, abstract, and design concepts.
The Kids LOVED it. Today we heard lots of laughter, painted hands, and cleaned lots of sticky fingers.
For those of you who might be interested in a class, there is another Gallery 24Kids Camp coming up in August, as well as several adult classes that offer more challenging techniques brought to you by our very talented artists . The class that I taught focused on painting and design. At the beginning of class we did an ice breaker game for the kids to get to know each other. Then used those discoveries to start brainstorming ideas for our picture frames. We did a few drafts and then finally got started painting. Each project got a unique and beautiful result. So proud of them! ❤️
In our down time.. we talked, we chalked, we snacked. We had a lovely time.
