“Return to Nature”

Welcome to the beginning of something new. After several years identifying as "artist" or "painter", I've more recently realized that literally everyone is an artist in their own way. However, to identify and represent what art can be, we have to expose our fragile perspective to the cruel judgement of others.

This profound realization, naturally, came to me at a time of strife and struggle. Fortunately for me, I'm not alone in understanding this struggle. And so, I recede back into my art as a place of comfort and expression. For me, art is personal. I am not sure what others see when they view my work, and I only hope that we can all appreciate art from the perspective of others.

To me “Return to Nature” is a meaningful collection. It’s a reminder of how important it is to take a step back and reconnect with the natural world, especially in our fast-paced society. I hope that my work will inspire others to slow down and find joy in the simple, natural things around them.
