Who knows Publishing?

Okay okay. I do have a lot going on. Let’s call it Organized Chaos.

I have two completed kids books. They are short story board books and naturally I did all the illustrations. I am hoping to have them published here in 2025 but as an unpublished writer I'm currently have a difficult time getting that done. Is self-publishing truly the new way? To be honest, it just feels like another “subscription.” Either way, I might have to go that direction. If you or someone that you know has experience in the industry, I would love to take advantage of your knowledge and skills. We could Barter like the old days. (me and all my '“useless skills”).

Self-Publishing might work for the Children’s books but I’m also working on a Fiction Novel! Currently editing 40,000 words and might shoot for something even bigger. What are your experiences? I’m truly asking because I don’t wan t to rush in. I want to publish a book!

Lastly, I’m writing a Family Cookbook for my daughter. We cook a LOT! I’ve been collecting recipes for years and now just need to have it formatted and printed. What printers have you used? Or book binding? I’m not necessarily looking to publish or sell. This one is more personal.
