Mission Accomplished
Dear friends,
I’m so grateful for the incredible energy and support at this year’s Fall Exhibition. Your presence—whether in person or in spirit—meant the world to me. Every conversation, shared smile, and thoughtful reflection reminded me why I create: to connect, to inspire, and to grow together. Thank you for being part of this journey.
Now, for something truly special…
I’m thrilled to announce my upcoming children’s book, Learning to Fly, coming soon! The self-illustrated story is about Tiny the Honeybee who must learn to fly and he is imagining his very first time. The rhythmic story uses fun illustrations to show how learning something new can be scary but also fun. With a little motivation and a big imagination, Tiny is able to overcome his fears and ultimately become successful in learning to fly.
Too often kids are scared to start something simply because they are “not good” or not confident. This vibrant picture book acknowledges how hard it is to try something new in a fun and silly way.
Whether you're a parent, educator, or simply young at heart, I hope Learning to Fly brings joy, wonder, and a gentle reminder that every leap begins with a little faith.
Stay tuned for sneak peeks, illustrations, and release details in the coming weeks. If you’re new here—welcome! You’re now part of a creative circle that celebrates storytelling, art, and the magic of possibility.
With gratitude and excitement,
K. Sutton
